Among the most serious potential impacts of climate change are threats to water resources. Water resource managers are increasingly aware of challenges presented by changes in both water quantity and quality. HGL has 35 years of experience evaluating surface and groundwater interactions, from predicting fresh water supplies to assessing the potential for saltwater intrusion. Water quantity can be influenced by both long- and short-term changes in patterns of precipitation and runoff, as well as changing land use by multiple stakeholders.
