HGL has been notified by the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development that we have earned three Citation of Merit Awards for achievement in the prevention of occupational injuries during calendar year 2013. The projects cited are Cosden Chemical Coatings Site, Emmell’s Septic Landfill Superfund Site, and South Jersey Clothing Co. Superfund Site. The awards will be presented in May by the New Jersey State Industrial Safety Committee at the Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Awards dinner. HGL’s program manager for the USACE Kansas City District Long-Term Remedial Action and Pre-placed Remedial Action contracts will accept the awards with project staff. HGL executive management extends our thanks and congratulations to the project manager and site safety and health officers responsible for the successful site implementation of HGL’s S&H program who worked hard to achieve this honor.
