Capitol Hill Fly In ~ March 13, 2024

Matt Tucker, together with Emily Justice, represented HGL at NAOC’s recent Capitol Hill Fly-In in Washington, D.C. Sponsored by NAOC’s Government Affairs Committee, this annual event brings together industry leaders with members of Congress to build support for NAOC’s legislative priorities. Key policy initiatives this year were addressing the lowest price / technically acceptable contract requirement in the National Defense Authorization Act and advocating for Formerly Used Defense Site funding requests to ensure important munitions response projects across the country can proceed.

Emily Justice (back row, second from left) and Matt Tucker (back row, far right) with other NAOC members, working together to build support for the munitions response industry.

HGL has a solid reputation for providing full-service munitions response services to include front-end and back-end response actions addressing conventional munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) and chemical warfare materiel (CWM) at terrestrial and marine sites as well as providing DoD Advanced Geophysical Classification Accreditation Program (DAGCAP)-accredited geophysical service.
