HGL to Provide Groundwater Modeling Support at Nevada National Security Site
HGL was recently notified that the Navarro Research and Engineering Team won the Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration’s environmental program services contract at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). Work under the contract includes environmental characterization and remediation services at corrective action units at the Nevada National Security Site and parts of the Nevada Test and Training Range, including Tonopah Test Range, and radioactive waste acceptance services at generator sites across the country. HGL’s role on the Navarro team will be to provide technical groundwater support, including modeling and optimization.
As a small business set aside, the contract has an estimated value of $59million and a five year period of performance (one-year base period and four one-year options). Navarro, one of the incumbent contractors, is well known for their high quality work and customer service. HGL looks forward to supporting both Navarro and DOE at NNSS.
