HGL Selected for two USACE, Kansas City District LTRA Contracts ($120M total capacity)
HGL was awarded two Small Business Environmental Remediation Services, Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District. These contracts have a combined shared capacity of $120M. MATOC A will primarily support existing and future USACE customers of the Districts within the Northwestern Division, and will include the ability to support EPA Region 2. MATOC B will primarily support the EPA Region 2, and will include the ability to support existing and future USACE customers of the Northwestern Division.
The scope of work includes a wide range of Long Term Response Action (LTRA) services at hazardous waste sites including environmental removal actions, remedial actions, and other remediation activities. Contractors may also be called upon to provide services and construction to support Department of Homeland Security and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) initiatives in the event of a terrorist threat, an actual terrorist incident, or other incident. The MATOC contracts have a basic ordering period of three (3) years plus one two (2) year option period or until the contract limit is reached, whichever comes first. Each task order issued under this contract will be competed among the six contract holders in MATOC A or seven contract holders in MATOC B.
