HGL Selected as Awardee on $49M QA Seeding MATOC from CEHNC

On October 19, 2021, HGL received notice from the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (CEHNC) that it had been selected as an awardee on a $49 million Quality Assurance (QA) Seeding Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). Under this contract, which has a 2-year base period and three 1-year options, HGL will assist CEHNC in conducting field tests of equipment used by contractors to collect munitions-related data following the Advanced Geophysical Classification (AGC) process.

The Department of Defense and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers developed the AGC process to improve the efficiency of munitions cleanups and to focus resources on addressing potential explosives safety risks at munitions response sites (MRSs). HGL’s QA activities will be supporting CEHNC on munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) remedial investigation, remedial action, and removal projects at MRSs located throughout the United States and in U.S. territories and territorial waters. HGL is pleased to be able to support CEHNC in this important mission.
