HGL Selected as Awardee on $400M USACE Huntsville Center Environmental Services Contract
NEWS FLASH – On February 4, 2020, HGL received notification from the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Alabama, that it has been selected as an awardee on a $400 million (shared capacity) Small Business Set-Aside Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). This award will allow HGL to perform Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) responses involving conventional munitions, Environmental Compliance and Remediation Services (ECRS), and Other Munitions-Related Services (OMRS). This work can occur at sites located throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, and in U.S. territories and territorial waters. Services provided under this contract will support various Department of Defense components and other federal agencies This contract has a base period of performance of 3 years, plus one 2-year option period.
The contract allows for the performance of a wide range of environmental services, including performing investigations, engineering evaluations, cost analyses, and remedial or removal actions relating to Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) as well as providing data management, training, public involvement, and various other forms of support. These services will be provided at currently and formerly used defense sites, property adjoining currently and formerly used defense sites, federally controlled/owned sites, and sites in foreign jurisdictions. HGL is eager to continue supporting the Huntsville Center and its clients in executing their environmental response missions under this contract.
