HGL is Awardee on $200 Million USACE Environmental and Military Munitions Response Services Contract
News Flash – On May 23, 2018, HGL received notification from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, that it had been selected as an awardee on a $200 million Multiple Environmental Government Acquisition (MEGA) Small Business (SB) Set-Aside Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). This award will allow HGL to provide environmental remediation and munitions response services directly to the Omaha District and its customers. This contract has a base period of performance of 3 years, plus a 2-year option period.
Services covered under the scope of the contract include the control of environmental contamination from pollutants, toxic substances, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), and radioactive materials. Further, the contract allows for work conducted for Department of Defense clients in support of the Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP), Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP), Defense Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Program, and Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP) as well as for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Superfund and Brownfield programs. Work can be performed throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, and in U.S. territories. HGL looks forward to supporting existing and new clients in their environmental response missions under this new contract.
