HGL Selected as Awardee on $120M USACE Environmental Services Contract
NEWS FLASH – On May 17, 2019, HGL received notification from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Omaha District, that it has been selected as an awardee on a $120 million (shared capacity) Small Business Set-Aside Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). This award will allow HGL to provide environmental remediation and munitions response services directly to the USACE, Northwestern Division, and its customers. This contract has a base period of performance of 3 years, plus one 2-year option period.
The contract allows for the performance of a wide range of environmental services, including investigations and field studies; optimization studies; engineering support and remedial design; and response actions, removals, and facility operation and maintenance (O&M). Other activities may include actions to characterize or remediate radioactive material, military munitions and explosives of concern/munitions constituents, and abandoned mine sites.
Work can be performed within the geographic boundaries of the Northwestern Division, which comprises the states of Colorado, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. HGL looks forward to supporting existing Northwestern Division clients as well as new ones in their environmental response missions under this contract.
