HGL RECEIVES DAGCAP REACCREDIATION
HydroGeoLogic, Inc. (HGL) is proud to announce that its Geophysics’ Team was reaccredited on April 16, 2020, to continue performing Advanced Geophysical Classification (AGC) work at munitions response sites through the Department of Defense (DoD) Advanced Geophysical Classification Accreditation Program (DAGCAP). HGL is one of just 14 firms that have met the stringent quality standards of DAGCAP and completed the two-step accreditation process.
DoD established DAGCAP in 2016, and in 2017 it began requiring that firms using AGC for munitions response work be accredited. DoD also established AGC as the standard for Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) under the Military Munitions Response Program. DAGCAP participants must meet the Department of Defense Quality System Requirements for Advanced Geophysical Classification (DoD QSR), which is based on ISO/IEC 17025:2017, the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories.
HGL’s Munitions Response Division provides full-service military munitions response services and can effectively execute any project, regardless of size or location, from concept through completion. HGL’s in-house multidisciplinary project delivery teams conduct munitions response work at numerous active, FUDS, and other sites, addressing all aspects of munitions investigations and remedial actions including unexploded ordnance (UXO) and, when necessary, chemical warfare materiel (CWM) concurrently with hazardous, toxic, and radiological waste (HTRW) issues.
