On October 14, 2021, the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (CEHNC), notified HGL that it had been selected to provide munitions-related services under Huntsville’s $1.136 billion Chemical, Environmental and Munitions Response – Unrestricted (ChEM-RU) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). Under the contract, HGL will perform Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) responses involving conventional munitions and chemical warfare materiel (CWM), Environmental Compliance and Remediation Services (ECRS), and Other Munitions-Related Services (OMRS) to enable lands and waters to be used safely and efficiently for their intended purpose.
The contract has a 5-year ordering period that can be extended to 10 years though options. Task orders issued under the contract can address sites located throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, the U.S. territories, and U.S. territorial waters. HGL has been supporting the CEHNC and the MMRP for over a dozen years and looks forward to continuing and expanding that support through this new mega contract vehicle.
