HGL-APTIM JV to Support DLA at Defense Fuel Support Point Ozol
On September 28, 2020, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) awarded the HGL-APTIM Joint Venture (JV) a four-year multimillion-dollar contract to provide remediation, compliance, and facility maintenance services at Defense Fuel Support Point (DFSP) Ozol in Martinez, California. The HGL-APTIM JV will be performing operations and maintenance of environmental remediation systems; monitoring and reporting on site environmental conditions; managing data; and providing environmental compliance support.
The HGL-APTIM JV was formed in 2019 by HydroGeoLogic, Inc. (HGL), a small business under NAICS Code 562910, and Aptim Federal Services, LLC (APTIM) under a Small Business Administration-approved mentor-protégé agreement. The HGL-APTIM JV brings together the long-standing and successful track records of two firms that specialize in providing comprehensive environmental and infrastructure services to federal, state, and local government agencies as well as to commercial clients.
Though APTIM has been supporting DLA’s mission for over 30 years, this contract represents HGL’s first opportunity to work directly with the agency. HGL looks forward to supporting DLA’s efforts to reduce environmental liabilities through remediation, restoration, and regulatory closure of sites affected by DLA-capitalized products.
