HGL-APTIM APPLIED SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY JV LLC (HAAST) AWARDED $49M SATOC FOR ERS AND MMRP SERVICES

On May 28, 2021, the HGL-APTIM Applied Science and Technology JV LLC (HAAST) was awarded the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District’s first Small Business Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC). The $49 million Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) with Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) SATOC will be providing support to the USACE, Northwest Division (NWD), and its existing and future customers nationwide. This contract has a base period of performance of 3 years, plus one 2-year option period.

HAAST is composed of HydroGeoLogic, Inc. (HGL) of Reston, Virginia (www.hgl.com) and APTIM Federal Services, LLC (APTIM) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana (www.aptim.com). The services provided by HAAST will be related to the requirements of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Clean Air Act, and other related federal programs as well as state and local regulations and requirements. Remedial actions can address both regulated and nonregulated toxic substances and can include incidental/minor construction activities.

Both HGL and APTIM have long-standing relationships with the USACE, Omaha District, and the NWD and look forward to supporting them and their clients through this new contract.
