OCTOBER 30, 2007 — A paper by Peter Huyakorn, Ph.D. and Sorab Panday, Ph.D. describing a fully coupled modeling approach for groundwater-surface water systems is among the most frequently requested papers published in the journal Advances in Water Resources (http://www1.elsevier.com/homepage/sad/downloads/03091708.html). SEPTEMBER 28, 2007 — HGL is pleased to announce that we have been selected for negotiation of an AFCEE 4PAE08 contract. HGL was successful in competing for the full scope of services, which includes A/E support for environmental; military construction (MILCON); military family housing (MFH); and facility sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM) program requirements. The award of this contract, part of a $3B program, will serve as HGLs fifth AFCEE contract in the past 12 years. JULY 3, 2007 — HGL has achieved another very significant milestone by signing a 10-year, $65M Remedial Action Contract (RAC2) with EPA Region III. The scope of this contract involves comprehensive technical and field support services for EPA's superfund cleanup program in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
